The Children's Legend from Lodz Ghetto

At the side of this drawing from the Children's Legend, was written:

“Sweat pours off the girl’s brow, she looks for help – it’s no use, she’s on her own. It’s all because of the naughty demons, their cruel pranks and tricks ruin all of her stitches.”

Look and think:
Why does the Legend tell us about the little demons that do not allow the girl to sew? What was the real reason the children found it hard to work?

Hint: remember Sara’s testimony and Israel’s testimony.
