Brundibar - a Musical in the Ghetto

In the Theresienstadt Ghetto the children of the ghetto performed the musical – Brundibar.

The play portrays two poor children who want to sing in the city square to collect money for their sick mother. A wicked music-box player, called Brundibar, drives them out of the square.

The musical has a happy end. The children of the town, along with a dog, a cat and a sparrow, save the poor brothers and banish the evil Brundibar.
