Grownup Children

Once children entered the ghetto their world changed entirely: the house they lived in, the friends they played with, the school they attended - nothing remained as it had been before. The children were also forced to take up tasks that had formerly been done by adults: finding food, going to work, caring for the entire family, and more. The children who lived in the ghetto had no choice but to become "grownup children".
