“My Bar-Mitzvah was inside the ghetto, it was in the summer…. I remember what I had received for my Bar-Mitzvah. I got a pair of Tefillin and a prayer book from my brother Cheskiel, bless his memory. My mother gave me a sandwich with radishes. This was my Bar Mitzvah.” |
