Monopoly in the Ghetto

This game of Monopoly was made in Theresienstadt Ghetto.

In the center of the game board there is a bird's-eye view drawing of the ghetto. The bank in the game is the ghetto bank.

The various stations in the game are named after important streets and buildings in the ghetto.

The Monopoly game was prepared by Oswald Pöck. It was meant to entertain the children, but also to provide themwith vital information about life in the ghetto.
